On our way to Lander, Wyoming for the night. High winds and icy patches but we made it safely.

We're staying at the Sleeping Bear RV Park & Campground and lo and behold...they have WiFi!!! We're on to Cody, Wyoming tomorrow.

P.S. All photos are taken with my iPhone.

Sunrise at Fantasy Canyon
South of Vernal, Utah

Spent the night at Fantasy Canyon so we could be up bright and early for sunrise. We had a little bit of everything overnight--rain, sleet, snow, howling winds....

It was definitely worth getting up at 5:45 AM!!!

We drove through Flaming Gorge but didn't see much due to challenging weather conditions-snow, white-outs, high winds.
Most campgrounds are closed for the season so we are "boondocking" at Buckboard Marina at Flaming Gorge Campground, 25 miles south of Green River, Wyoming.
This is our first cold weather test for the Roamer. It's snowy and bitter cold but we're warm and toasty!!!
No internet service here (as you might expect) so will send this from Rock Springs, Wyoming tomorrow. 'Night 'night....

Morning view from Dick Durrance and Sue Drinker's home in Carbondale, Colorado. Had a delicious dinner, great conversation and spent the night in their driveway.
How many people have guests who bring their own accommodations with them???

Drove to Fantasy Canyon in Utah and spent the afternoon shooting with friend and fellow photographer G. Brad Lewis, in between pelting rain and 85 mph wind gusts. Snow is predicted for tomorrow.
Stay tuned...

Spent the day at EarthRoamer in Dacono, Colorado so that the amazing crew could attend to some final details--installing Drobos for our hard drives, attaching hooks, etc.
They patiently answered all our questions and took us through the systems ONE MORE TIME. We're finally starting to get it. Wow...such a steep learning curve!

Thought you might like to see the extraordinary team who made our EarthRoamer possible. They are true craftsmen who take incredible pride in what they do.
Our gratitude to each and every one of them for their attention to detail--there wasn't anything they couldn't do!!! A very special thanks to Bill Swails whose
vision made it possible for these two old photographers to roam the world!

After another stop at EarthRoamer in the morning, we're off to Carbondale, Colorado for a visit with some old friends. Snow is coming...
